Dr. Steve Tutty

Why New York

Dr. Tutty has deep roots on the East Coast. New York became part of his life again through his family.

His adult children moved to New York for college. Over years of visits, the city came to feel more and more like home, and he now practices here. When he is not working, he is usually outside the city hiking, along the Hudson or up in the Catskills.

The Lexington Avenue office

Dr. Tutty sees clients at 353 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10016, in Murray Hill, just south of Grand Central. All testing happens here, in person, in one full day. Consultations and feedback sessions can be held at the office or by video, which helps families who live outside Manhattan or have a tight schedule.

Office hours

  • Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Thursday and Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Sunday: closed

Who he sees here

In New York he focuses on the two areas where most of his experience lies: children, teens and young adults (ages 5–22) who need an educational or neuropsychological evaluation, and adults whose cognitive or emotional functioning is at issue in a personal injury case. He also consults with judges, commissioners and attorneys on high-conflict family law matters, but does not do custody evaluations.

New York families often come to him with questions about school supports, such as a 504 plan or an IEP. His reports are written so that parents, teachers and clinicians can each find the recommendations that apply to them.

Working with him

He works with the help of Katreace Moore, MS-P, MSP-MAC, SUDP, who provides supervised psychometric testing for children and young adults. Services are provided through Aspyre Psychology.
